Today I was going to review Hellogon by John Booth but unfortunately due to life getting in the way I’m still reading it so...

Instead I am going to blog about The Taming of the Bastard by LA Dale.

I was lucky enough to be a beta reader for this story so I got to read it before others... :)

LA delivers again.  Another unique story and very different from her others.  Sure there is the romance element which I always love but this is light, fun and totally unpredictable.

If you love romance, sexy leading men mixed with humour and reality... then you can’t go past LA’s Bastard... and of course Perhaps...Perhaps and my favourite of all Heart of Glass.

First of all, long time no post again!  Yes I know!  For those who may actually read my blog... it is been a short while between drinks.  My last post was about changing my name but after deliberation and discussions with my publisher Night Publishing - Joanne Ellis is staying.... it is after all a woman's perogative to change her mind, yes?

Ok, now the real reason for my blog - the talented LA Dale.

A while back I found LA on authonomy and fell in love with Heart of Glass.  Since then she has had this and Perhaps... Perhaps published (the later with a great publisher that I am quite fond of!).  I immediately bought Heart of Glass when it came out and fell in love with it all over again.

So of course when Perhaps... Perhaps came out, I jumped right in and ordered it.  LA said to me 'its different from HOG, hope you like it', well like is an understatement, I LOVED IT.

Yes it is different in many ways from HOG but this is why LA shines.  Once again she delivers romance but with her own brand of laugh out loud antics and characters, dreamy leading men and a few twists, all bundled into a happy ending.

With these two fab books under her belt and more to come she has become one of my favourite writers and I can barely wait for her Taming of the Bastard series.

Here is the link to LA Dale's page at Night Publishing... if you love womans lit with a bit of romance then Heart of Glass and Perhaps... Perhaps are for you.
