Now what to keep blathering on about?  That is the question.  I could tell you about my Manic Monday and Terrible Tuesday (what is it about Tuesday?) or perhaps that it is grey and dreary.  Yet how is my stuff any different to yours?

So what to blog.  Well I decided Alice in Wonderland.  As a child it was one of my favourite stories and I believe for ‘book week’ at school I donned a blue dress and headband.  Then came the movies.  The most recent one caught my attention.  How could I not want to see Johnny Depp at his ‘mad’ character playing best?  Then there is of course his teaming up with Tim Burton again.  The man who brought dark and sinister to Batman after years of camp bright blue of the TV show and Edward Scissorhands, which to this day I think is his best.  The jury is still out for me on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

It is at this point as I sit and write this with one eye on the TV that I can safely say I envy Alice.  How wonderful it would be to fall down the rabbit hole, disappear for a while.  Go to a tea party hosted by a hatter where you can be as mad as you wish.  To see a Dodo bird, a floating Cheshire cat or meet a white queen.  The best thing of course being that you can go to a place called Wonderland.  The only thing better is Neverland.

All I can hope for, I suppose, is next time I chase a rabbit wearing a waistcoat that I fall into the hole.  If I don’t well then I guess I should be more concerned that I SAW a rabbit wearing a waistcoat in the first place.
