Yes this is about writers I know again, where I can hold their book in my hands.  This is exciting, to have become friends with these great people and minds and then be able to share the exhileration when they become published and then have the honour of reading them.

I am almost finished Dancing in the Dark, on the second to last story.  I have to admit I have a little crush on Robb Grindstaff's Stella and Bailey and in awe again with Sessha's Wintersong and Noelle's Delectable Deviations.  Still have the lovely Ms Tyson's to read and I am looking forward to that.

So I realised I was running low on books (well I have a pile but I don't know them personally) so with the release recently of Simon's Choice and not quite as recently of The Unwise Woman of Fuggis Mire, I jumped online and added them to the collection.  A now wait with anticipation their arrival.  I also purchased A Kiss at Midnight by Eloise James.   I don't know a lot about Eloise but have discovered her via the wonderful (and time suckage) world of Facebook and after reading her blurb, what girl could resist a Cinderella story... well I couldn't anyway.

So while I wait for my new purchases, I continue to read DITD and have taken up baking.  I ponder the value of spending an hour on the treadmill to then eat a slice of my homebaked apple pie afterwards but who can resist.  I think I have found my hidden talent. :)

And for final musings, Spoilt is coming, changes were made so now I wait again.

That's all for me this cold wintery evening, keep writing!

OK so I've been slack and haven't blogged for a bit.

The editing process, cover design, marketing and the general excitement of being published has kept me busy.

Along with this, READING, something I haven't indulged in much of lately, has also keep me busy.  In particular I have been reading books by writers I know, writers I can call friends.

First of all I read BETRAYAL by Bev Dulson which can be purchased here.

I romance laced with twist and turns.  It made me smile, swoon and cry... all the things I love in a book.  Expect the unexpected here folks... Bev is a master of the twist.

Now I'm reading one of my favourite books ever found on authonomy.  HEART OF GLASS by LA Dale.  Lindy's absolutely fabulous book can be purchased here.

This book has it all, romance, sex, drugs interwoven with songs that remind me of my youth.  A true page turner.  Although I have read this in full before, it is simply great to hold this in my hand in real paperback... though I have read it before, Lindy has made a few changes to the draft I originally read, it is still like new to me again.  I have fallen in love all over again and I still haven't quite finished yet.  In fact I may go back and read when I finish this post.

The final book on my pile of writers I know is Dancing in the Dark.  This is a collection of erotic stories by writer whose writing I adore.  I have been indulging in these shorts in between other things so I'm still only part way through but for a great indulgent read then look no further than here.

These are the books that I have bought that I am excited to hold in my hot little hands BUT there are so many unpublished stories which I wish I could say the same about:

Seven Seconds - By Tom Sharp, a talented writer whose prose is simply wonderful.  View his book at authonomy.

Appetites - JD Revene (JD has a story in Dancing in the Dark).  A simply wonderful erotic journey and story. A link can be found for his website on my links page.

As can links for:
Kate, Blue Jeans and A Single Shot by Sangay Glass, I've still yet to read all of this and I would love to see this in paperback.
Gemini: The Twins by Noelle Pierce.  Everything she writes sings on the page.
Shinobi by Sessha Bato - another master of erotica.

To name but a few.  There are many great writers to be found on my links page but these books are the ones that have touched me in one way or another.

More to come....
